The leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, in an interview for the "Ekspres" show on RTSH, emphasized the importance of the May 11 elections, where citizens will decide whether the money will be in their pockets for pension increases, tax cuts and investments, or will it go into the pockets of Edi Rama's friends.
Basha stressed that the coalition is encouraged by the support of young people and first-time voters. He added that for the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, the mission is to prepare the new generation to lead Albania and fight corruption. According to him, 7x7=313 is the anti-corruption anthem addressed to Albanians.

Lulzim Basha: On May 11, citizens will choose where their money will be. It will be in their pockets, for pension increases, it will be for tax cuts, it will be for investments in healthcare, for young people in universities, for jobs with dignified salaries, or it will be in the pockets of Edi Rama's friends. This is the solution, there is no other choice: either the money will be in the pockets of citizens, or it will be in the pockets of Edi Rama's friends. And this is decided by the vote on May 11. Every citizen is responsible for himself, for his children and for his families.
Question: We are at the peak of the electoral campaign, how is it going from the perspective of Euro-Atlantic Democrats? Where do you see the greatest support and where do you have the most expectations, in which district?
Lulzim Basha: The problems that we denounce are problems of all of Albania. And we do not focus on one region or another. So we expect support from all of Albania. But we are particularly encouraged by the support we see from young people in general, especially first-time voters. They are celebrating that a transition cycle is closing and they are facing a great opportunity. While for us, the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, the most important mission is to pave the way, to prepare this new generation to take control of Albania's destiny, because the old generation has nothing more to offer.
Question: Is it also because of an unconventional campaign that you are doing, even with this communication “o Rame, o Bashe” that these young people may be more willing to seek you out?
Lulzim Basha: Young people, like the rest of the population, and other ages, understand the essence of my message. And I have not heard them repeat anything that Rama says, but what they repeat from my messages is where are your friends 7x7=313. This is the anti-corruption anthem. This is the anti-corruption refrain that Albanians now, the majority of Albanians, because this message is addressed to them, this message is not addressed to the corrupt 7x7=313 and their friends. It is not addressed to them and they neither expect nor ask for votes, because they are the subject of our anti-corruption policies in support of SPAK. While the majority of the population, the rest of the citizens, support this as a refrain against corruption.
