Democratic Party MP Luan Baçi said that the DP must change the way it deals with the current regime, emphasizing that dealing with Prime Minister Rama is difficult.
Regarding the possibility of Ervin Salianji taking the post of Secretary General of the DP, Baçi said that the vote is secret and each candidate must show his performance to gain the trust of party members.
"Everything must be discussed together. Here, the way we will deal with this regime must change. And with this regime, with Rama there, it is difficult to deal with. Here, the DP does not need to elect a leader, it has the leader. The leader is elected, not appointed, the Democrats choose him, it is a matter of votes, we are all powerless when it comes to votes", said Luan Baçi in an interview for "Euronews Albania".
When asked if the DP could give the position of Secretary General to Ervin Salianji, Baç replied: "The vote is secret, we have to go to the elections and we have to see the performance that everyone will have during this time when we go to the elections. But it may not be these, there may be two others to be voted on. The one who is thought to be the most correct is selected there ."
