Adriatik Kupi signs "storm" in Albanian prisons, director of prison 313 leaves, changes also in Reç, Elbasan and Rrogozhina

The Director General of Prisons, Adriatik Kupi, has signed the release from duty of the heads of several penitentiary institutions, starting from the 313th in Tirana and the Reç prison in the North, Elbasan and Rrogozhina further south.
Specifically, it is learned that the director of the "Jordan Misja" prison, where former president Ilir Meta has been housed for more than a year and a half, Gentian Lila, has resigned.
In his place, by order of Adriatik Kupi, Arjan Bozhaj has been appointed director. It remains to be seen what his behavior will be, especially in relation to Ilir Meta, as various organizations have found abuses and violations of the former president's rights.
The various incidents have also affected the Rec Prison, where it is reported that Klodjan Myrto has been appointed head of this penitentiary institution, while his predecessor, Algert Çekrezi, has resigned and returned to the State Police.
Top Channel reports that the Elbasan detention center has also been affected by the changes. Director Qazim Hoxha has been removed from his post and, by order of the General Director, Markiz Sallufi has been appointed in his place.
The latest penitentiary institution to be affected by the changes is Rrogozhina Prison, where Alban Zela has been appointed director. This prison previously had Bilal Hasa, but he was suspended after the scandal that was discovered in the abandoned family home in a village in Peqin.
The police discovered premises there adapted for the cultivation of cannabis, but it turned out that the director Bilal Hasa had no connection to this illegal activity, but rather his brother, who is on the national wanted list.
