Agron Shehaj: Rama attacks justice, called prosecutors "dogs" and

The leader of the Mundësia Party, Agron Shehaj, commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements towards prosecutors and judges today, as he attacked them with insulting labels while presenting the SP's legal initiative to prevent SPAK from seeking the suspension of the Prime Minister and members of the governing cabinet.

According to Shehaj, there is a simple and clear reason why Rama intensified his harsh offensive language against prosecutors by using the insulting terms "dogs and mice" towards them.

Following the request for the arrest of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku and her suspension from office, Shehaj says that Rama seeks to assign absolute and untouchable power to himself, while the prime minister could soon be held as a defendant, the head of "Mundësia" underlines.

Shehaj refers to this statement by Rama: "That the dividing line between powers be like those fences with a hole where dogs and rats enter and exit, and we cannot allow this."

While calling for the signing of the declaration in defense of justice, the leader of the Opportunity Party underlines that the Albanian justice system has and will have the support of internationals to fight corruption among high-ranking officials in Albania.

"Clearly, Edi Rama is very worried because he thought he would have absolute and eternal power, but this is not going to happen. Because justice, with the support of internationals, is bringing the corrupt to justice like never before."

"That's why we need to sign the declaration in defense of justice. We will take these signatures to the American Congress, to the European Parliament to show them that they must continue to support justice in Albania, that Albanians also want the corrupt to be brought to justice. That's why it's very important, sign, sign, sign," Shehaj emphasizes.

The Opportunity Party has undertaken an initiative to collect 100,000 signatures from Albanian citizens in defense of justice and the fight against corruption. So far, 60,000 citizens have voluntarily signed the petition to protect the justice system from political power.
