The best in Europe for headed goals, Vedat Muriqi equals a record that had not been achieved since 2010

Kosovo Albanian striker Vedat Muriqi is having an extraordinary season with Mallorca, transforming into a true weapon in the aerial game.

He is currently the top headed goalscorer in Europe's top five leagues this season. With six headed goals, he has set a personal and club record in La Liga.

Muriqi is also the first Mallorca player to score six headed goals in a single season since Pierre Uebo in the 2010/11 season. His physical strength, positioning and instinct in front of goal have made him a real “artery” for the island team.

This season, Muriqi is having the best season of his career, being the second best scorer in La Liga with 16 goals, seven less than Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe.
