Basha: Here's how I helped Rama and Berisha return to the leadership of the DP

The political leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, told Euronews Albania that in his view, Prime Minister Edi Rama was the one who helped Sali Berisha return as leader of the Democratic Party.

According to Basha, this move by the prime minister is a way to weaken the opposition.

"Edi Rama cooperates with Sali Berisha because it suits him. In this way, he weakens the opposition. Edi Rama helped reinstall Berisha at the head of the Democratic Party so that he could come here and teleport the DP."

Rama had a simple choice: accept a Democratic Party, on the side of the US and with a new leader, or try to bring back Sali Berisha in a clear process of disunity.

It is quite clear that Edi Rama's solution was to divide the opposition. The opposition was divided because of Rama's influence.

"I believe that in these elections there is a solution, a vote for number 5 is a vote to get Edi Rama's friends out of prison," said Lulzim Basha.
