Berisha stings Spiropal: Lubia calls him 'tall peacock' and Rama defends him, you call him 'Skënderbe' and he throws you away!
DP leader Sali Berisha accused the majority from the Parliament's rostrum today (May 13) during the plenary session of having prepared a fabricated and fraudulent report on EU integration, which citizens have not read and not even the opposition knows what it contains, so he demanded its removal.
He also called it a scandal, emphasizing that the report is bureaucratic.
Berisha said that this report contained only one performance that was fueled by the figure of "Rama and Lubia" (Belinda Balluku).
"We have presented today in Parliament the report on EU integration, from alpha to omega, from the first word to the last, it is a fraud and nothing but a fraud. This is an extremely serious act, at an important moment for Albanians and Albania. You present a report that you do not even dare to read, you unconstitutionally decide that this report should not be read, there is no act more unserious than this. Therefore, I order the immediate withdrawal of the report. The report is a complete fraud and bureaucracy. As for the performance, it is all fiction. They come from one figure, Rama and Lubia," Berisha said, among other things.
He also addressed former minister and MP Elisa Spiropali, asking her how it was possible that Balluku called Rama a "pallos" and he defended him, while the one he called Skanderbeg was burned.
"They have filled it with deceit, dear citizens, they dare not come out and own the report, scandal. You can't get this far. You have obligations to the citizens. To come out here and read the report. How can I discuss it when it is a report that the citizens don't know. To talk about integration and in the report the citizens don't know what was said. What are you, mafia, yes! And those of you who are seeing me there, I will ask you a question here, how is it possible that she calls him Tall Peacock and he does everything to protect her, while you call him Skanderbeg and throw him away. What is the reason?", he said.
