Former MP Ervin Salianji has reacted harshly to the situation created on the Librazhd-Qafë Thanë axis.
In a post on social media, Salianji writes that the isolation of the southeast due to lack of maintenance and corruption is a clear reflection of misgovernance.
He emphasizes that citizens, ambulances, and businesses were put in difficulty and that the state should be measured by safety and responsibility, not by facades and propaganda.
"It is shameful that in 2026 a national axis like Librazhd - Përrenjas is completely blocked for hours. Not from some extraordinary disaster. But from lack of maintenance. From negligence.
From corruption. For more than two hours, the entire southeast was left isolated, as if it were not part of this country.
Citizens stranded on the streets. Ambulances waiting. Paralyzed businesses. Families at risk. This is the real picture of misgovernment. When funds are stolen and propaganda becomes a priority, the roads collapse and the state disappears. The state is not measured by facades and billboards. It is measured by roads that function. With safety. With responsibility. Albanians do not deserve isolation. They deserve a government that works,” says Salianji.
