The ANK shpk company, which is working on the construction of the road segment, part of Corridor Eight, has begun work on the demolition of the dangerous section in the area known as the Dragostunja Bends, on the Librazhd-Prrenjas national axis, following the situation created by the rock slide that led to traffic blockage.
The intervention of ANK's demolition teams has begun throwing massive amounts of stones and soil onto the road, while the southeast-bound axis remains blocked due to today's collapse.
As a result of the works, traffic on this axis continues to be limited, while authorities call on drivers to exercise caution and follow the instructions of services on the ground, until the situation is fully normalized.
