Opposition speaker, Klevis Balliu: I told the internationals in Munich how Gys

The MP of the Democratic Party of Albania, Klevis Balliu, delivered a speech today from the podium located in front of the Prime Minister's Office building.

Balliu stated that he had returned from the Munich Security Conference, where he had discussed the situation in Albania with international representatives. He said that his interlocutors were surprised when, according to his claims, he had spoken of illegal influence on national security by Ergys Agasi.

The Democratic MP accused the government of state capture and described it as a "narco-government", claiming that appointments and key decision-making are made in a centralized manner and in violation of democratic standards.

He also attacked the Socialist majority, accusing it of links to crime over the years and objecting to the opposition's labeling as the "party of violence."

Klevis Balliu: I have just returned from the Munich Security Conference, where the issue of security was at the epicenter of the discussions. There I had to discuss with international colleagues and explain to them how it is possible for a blessed country to live in extreme poverty.

When I told them how coordinator Gys Agasi controlled Albania's national security, they couldn't believe their ears. Thank God, today more than ever, the opposition's accusations have been proven in the national and international arena and there is no foreigner who doesn't know that there is a narco-government in Albania.

They come up with another scheme to protect the AKSHI affair, through the so-called electronic government. Appointments are made directly, with a VKM by Edi Rama and 4–5 of his associates. That's where the cartels of Suel Çela and Çopjave are hidden.

This government has the face to come out and call us a party of violence. The Socialist Party has killed citizens for 50 years, then was overthrown by the Democratic Party and returned to power with figures like Zan Çaushi. In 1998, like no other party, it assassinated the opposition MP, Azem Hajdari. These are the same people who annihilated and killed the leader of democracy at the DP headquarters.

They returned to power in 2013 with cartels like the Çopjat, the Troplins and Suel Çela. And today they talk to us about the party of violence. We are a party of mission: strengthening democracy and integrating Albania into Europe.
