A case of violence inflicted on a journalist and a film crew in the municipality of Kurbin.
The journalist states that as media representatives, they went to this institution for a complaint case from residents of several villages in the Kurbin Mountains, who had major infrastructure concerns, but the Kurbin municipality, according to him, has become a curfew that is arrogantly protected by strongmen and its own employees.
He writes that the municipal police and unauthorized people who entered the municipality have become partners and have hindered the work of him and his colleagues. At the moment of the entry of unauthorized people, that is, "the strongmen of Laç" inside the municipality, the police did not intervene at all to protect the media from the physical and verbal violence exerted against them, but together with these people, they forcibly expelled the media from the institution.

Today, together with my colleagues from the Xhadat show filming group, I addressed the Municipality of Kurbin, which is represented by the mayor, Majlinda Cara.
In the Kurbin Highlands, several villages had major concerns about infrastructure and the negligence of the Public Service. No municipal employee was interested in road maintenance, let alone asphalt and normal investments.
For this problem, we institutionally addressed this municipality, where we were met with an absurd curfew.
People without a single gram of education and schooling, who did not know their duty, let alone the media.
As soon as the municipal police heard the news of our presence, they built a fence on the second floor where the mayor's office was and did not allow us to enter. Then unauthorized people, even, in Albanian, with "house slippers" entered the municipality, threatening and pushing us with banal and hooligan language. What do you journalists want here? What are you doing? You're ripping me off! We killed you, we slaughtered you!
The municipal police were standing there. I asked them to intervene, who are these gentlemen who come and threaten us as media? We don't even care, said a municipal police officer who called himself "Commander",
well they have it, what do you want here?!
So the municipal police officers became a fence for the media that requested an interview with the mayor in the service of public information and transparency, and did not deal with the "gangsters" of Laç at all.
Municipal police officers and others sided with the street gangsters to forcefully evict us.
