Italian journalist asks about kneeling before Western leaders, Rama: Only to Meloni...
Prime Minister Edi Rama was leaving the 'Labëria' Cultural Palace in Vlora, at the end of a meeting with residents of Zvërnec, when he was faced with several questions from the Italian journalist of "La7", Danilo Lupo. The Italian journalist addressed the Prime Minister with the question 'if it is possible to invest in Albania', referring to the protests opposing the construction in Zvërnec. Rama replied that Albania is a democratic country. Lupo further asked Rama, saying 'don't you think you are a little humble like many Western leaders?'. Rama responded with humor that he only kneels to the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
Danilo Lupo : Mr. Prime Minister, good evening! How are you doing! Is it still possible to invest in Albania?
Danilo Lupo : Is it still possible to invest in Albania?
Danilo Lupo: Because these are the protests...
Rama: Albania is a democratic country.
Danilo Lupo: This is also important.
Rama: Life moves forward, and so do things.
Danilo Lupo: And don't you think you bow down a little to many Western leaders?
Rama: I bow down only to Giorgia Meloni.
Rama: Have you ever seen me on my knees?
Danilo Lupo: Ivanka Trump maybe...?
