"Resign!"/ Democrats march with torches near Prime Minister Rama's residence in Surrel

A group of democrats has marched in protest in the Surrel area, on the outskirts of Tirana, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Among the Democrats were MPs Klevis Balliu, Elda Hoti and Besart Xhaferri.

The Democrats' protest in the Surrel area, where Prime Minister Rama's private residence is located, comes as the government faces a series of scandals.

Among them are the SPAK investigations into Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, for whom arrest has been requested, as well as the AKSHI scandal, a structure in which a group operating through criminal means was discovered.
