SP-DP Agreement/ Socialists withdraw amendments for the Territorial Commission from the agenda!

It seems that there has been an agreement between the DP and the SP to restore the Territorial Reform Commission to its original bipartisan form. In today's plenary session, the Socialists have withdrawn from the agenda the draft decision on changes in the composition of the Territorial Reform Commission.

The news in question was also confirmed by Taulant Balla, who stated that the majority decided to remove this item from the agenda, without providing any other details regarding the decision made.

"We are removing the changes to the Territorial Reform Commission from the agenda! Work will continue in the Special Territorial Reform Commission ," Balla said during the session.

The decision of the socialists was not left without comment from the democrats either. The deputy of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, demanded that the socialists not only remove the item from the agenda, but completely withdraw from the proposed changes in the Territorial Reform Commission. We recall that the DP was moving towards boycotting this Commission, but after the revolt of 10 democrat deputies at yesterday's meeting of the parliamentary group, Sali Berisha withdrew.
