The citizens' march as part of the national protest taking place in the capital has taken on extraordinary proportions. After initially filling the "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard, the massive mass of protesters has continued their movement on the main streets of Tirana, recently positioning themselves in one of the most populated areas, at the "Paris Municipality".

With repeated calls and chants against the government, protesters have marched through neighborhoods, calling on residents and passersby not to remain indifferent.

"Join us!" are the cries heard in chorus from the large crowd, which demands the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The high turnout has completely paralyzed traffic in this important hub of the city, while numerous citizens are coming out onto balconies and along sidewalks, following and in many cases joining the long column of marchers.
