Former Deputy Minister of Agriculture Alban Zusi has supported the government's initiative to merge the AKU institution and reorganize it. Zusi said that currently, meat is one of the most unsafe products in the country as it is traded without a veterinary certificate, where citizens have no information about its origin.
"The institutional reform I once wanted to make is the unification into a single food safety entity.
The cycle should have been closed in a single institution without the intervention of local government.
