"They did not implement the SPAK order to control the Suel Çela market"/ State Police responds to the DP: Unfair accusation, we did not refuse to fulfill our duty

Following the statement by the member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Belind Këlliçi, in which he accused the State Police of not implementing a SPAK order regarding the controls in the Elbasan market, the State Police has reacted, describing the accusations as "untrue and political slander."
In a public reaction to the media, the State Police expressed its outrage at the repeated attacks by representatives of the Democratic Party, emphasizing that the accusations aim to damage the image of the institution and hinder law enforcement in the territory.
"Today's statement is nothing more than a continuation of daily efforts to support hundreds of thousands of State Police employees, who perform their duties with dedication and professionalism every day," the reaction states.
The police emphasize that they have not refused any order from any law enforcement agency and that every task is fulfilled in accordance with the law. They underline that international partners assess them as one of the most reliable and effective institutions in the region.
State Police reaction:
The State Police expresses its deep indignation at the continuous efforts of representatives of the political entity "Democratic Party" to undermine the work of the State Police, work which is evaluated daily by partners and the most prestigious international law enforcement agencies.
Today's statement is nothing more than a continuation of daily efforts, fabricating and unjustly accusing hundreds of thousands of State Police employees and their management staff.
The State Police, as it has shown reliability and professionalism, dedication and determination alongside partners in the fight against crime, also has the same standard and very good relations with law enforcement agencies within the country in the interest of law enforcement.
We clarify to the public opinion that the State Police has never refused to fulfill the duties assigned to it under the laws in force, but has implemented and fulfilled them professionally and in accordance with the law.
These attacks, while attempting to intimidate the structures and leaders of the State Police, have only one goal, to curb the retaliation of the law in the territory against any illegality, as well as to create a crisis of trust among citizens in the Police, which is the institution most trusted by citizens, based on surveys conducted by international organizations that assist the work of the State Police.
For the State Police, citizenship and the law are sacred, and this alliance will not be violated by defamation through posts on social networks and portals or political statements.
Any police officer who violates this alliance and becomes a party to illegality will receive the harshest punishment under the law, facing justice and immediate dismissal from the ranks of the State Police.
We guarantee citizens and all political entities that the State Police is completely separated from political entities and focused solely on enforcing the law, ensuring order and security throughout the electoral campaign, and the inviolability of the vote on voting day.
Belind Këlliç's full statement:
Today, the Proda police have not carried out their duty as a state institution, but the order of the head of the narco-government, Edi Rama.
The drug director has refused to implement an order from the Special Prosecution Office to control the Elbasan market, the base of illegal activities of Rama and the SP's main gang in the region, Suel Çela's group.
This is an action not only in violation of the law, but also evidence of the state's surrender to organized crime.
Rama pushes and inspires SPAK when it needs to, and opposes and humiliates it when it affects his interests.
This is his standard with justice and Europe.
More than that, this is an open attempt by Edi Rama to use gangs to control and steal these elections.
Alarmed by the stance of the Council of Europe and the European Parliament in meetings with opposition leader Sali Berisha, Edi Rama is keeping the criminal infrastructure of election theft intact.
The Democratic Party calls on international allies to react to this dark page in the black book of records of Rama and his government.
Rama, who has bandits on his side, has the people against him.
On May 11, let's turn the state back to the side of the citizen and the law and throw Rama into the dustbin of history!
