DP proposes regulation change, demands ban on senior officials who have benefited from the foundation

16 members of the Democratic Party National Council have proposed a change to the internal regulations, which is expected to be presented to the National Council for approval at tomorrow's meeting.
The change is related to the incompatibility criteria for senior DP officials, in relation to receiving scholarships or connections with the Open Society Foundation.
According to this proposal, people who have been educated through scholarships from the Open Society Foundation, have served as experts for this foundation, have benefited from funds from it, and are directly or indirectly linked to PPPs and government tenders.
Who are considered incompatible with the mandate as senior DP officials.
They emphasize that this measure is related to the relationship of trust with the electorate and aims to establish clear political and moral standards within the opposition force.
According to them, the DP should begin an internal cleansing process, distancing itself from ideologies and structures that, in their assessment, have had a negative impact.
Meanwhile, the proposal is expected to be discussed and voted on at the next meeting of the National Council.
