The 24th massive protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office will be held today at 7:00 PM, where citizens will once again gather in front of the government building to demand the resignation of the government and the non-negotiable resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The protest is considered the culmination of civic mobilization after over three weeks of non-stop demonstrations.
The revolt has now transcended its initial cause and has become a broader movement against corruption, misgovernment, lack of accountability, and the mass exodus of young people from the country. The participation of the diaspora is an indication that dissatisfaction with the government is not limited to the territory of Albania.
The rally is expected to start at 7:00 PM at 'Skënderbej' Square and will then march towards the Prime Minister's Office.
The 23rd day of anti-government protests is seen as an important test for the continuity of the civic revolt, which has kept political developments in the country in the spotlight for three weeks.
