Rama and Berisha "clash" today in Italy, launch campaign with diaspora for May 11 vote

After officially opening the campaign for the May 11 parliamentary elections in Tirana, Socialist leader Edi Rama and Democratic leader Sali Berisha chose Italy first to seek the votes of Albanians in the diaspora, who are voting for the first time in these elections.
This Sunday at 3:00 PM, Prime Minister Edi Rama will meet with Albanians in Milan, while the Democrats will meet an hour later at 4:00 PM in Brescia.
Rama, together with representatives of socialist structures, will meet with Albanians at the "Centro Congresi", at Malpensa Fiere, in Busto Arsizio. While Berisha's meeting will take place at the Teatro Clerici, Via San Zeno 168 in Brescia.
This meeting follows the two-week visit to Greece, where the Prime Minister stopped first in Crete and then in Athens, also as part of the same tour with the Albanian diaspora.
Their meetings with Albanians in the diaspora come at the start of the electoral campaign for the May 11 elections, where both Prime Minister Rama and Democratic Party leader Berisha will seek the votes of Albanians abroad, who are voting for the first time in these elections.
