Rama in Durrës: At the head of the opposition, a disgusting remnant of communism!
The Socialist Party celebrates today the 35th anniversary of its founding in Durrës. Present at this event, Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered his speech, where he spoke about a number of issues, not sparing criticism of the opposition.
He stated that at the head of the opposition, 'a remnant of communism still remains.' Rama also said that thanks to the SP's commitment, Albania is closer to the European Union.
While he also brought attention to the opposition protests, stating that the only reason, according to him, they come out with Molotov cocktails and fireworks is to gain a place in foreign media and their only goal is to 'blacken Albania'.
"The Socialist Party, which at its founding took care to define itself as an anti-fascist, liberal party closely linked to the values of that national liberation war that places Albania on the right side of history. The Socialist Party has appreciated the communists for what they were and has rejected communism for what it has produced, and it is no coincidence that today, all day long, on the other side, it continues and survives at the head of what is mistakenly called the opposition, a remnant of communism, in its most disgusting form. Of communism that has its worst form in the anti-communist communist. But this is not our problem and we are not interested in this, but I brought it to your attention for illustration. How could the sunken Albania of the pyramids be compared? The greatest deception in history, there was no way that there could be an Albania without a thousand and one holes and gaps, but it re-engaged with the future, with the world to restore order to the land that until that moment had been opened up and turned into an abyss. They took the roads with "They were happy that the pictures of the flamethrowers shooting at the prime minister and the mosque were published in the world's media. They brought out German flags on the boulevard for the first time in the history of pluralism, because we had seen American flags. We had never seen German flags come out," he said.
