Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the event for the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party that is being held alongside the protest against him, appealed to citizens who are demanding his removal, saying that he is ready to talk to them if they want.
Rama stated that any decision on development in the Zvërnec area will depend on the quality of the project and the investors' offers, while inviting citizens who, according to him, are concerned about the environment, to verify the facts and institutions for themselves.
"I am available at any time and open to any discussion on how we will harmonize the protection of nature, while specifically regarding the fate of development in Zvërnec, it will be decided only by the quality of the project and the level of ambition of the program that investors will present for the development of the area. Take a piece of advice from me, run away from the hyenas that have gathered around you because you are the first to drown in the saliva of that hatred that I know well, of that hypocrisy and hunger for power that I and the socialists know from afar. That they hide under the caps they put on their heads for the first time or under the flags they tie around their necks. If you really want to make Albania, you people who are sincerely in love with nature and concerned about the environment, do not confuse where the danger comes from to nature, to the environment of Albania, but come and join us." , said Rama.
According to him, there was interference in this protest not only from the opposition but also from other forces from Kosovo and Macedonia, saying that they throw stones and hide their hands.
"I am clear that a protest that started for nature has now turned political in nature. Legitimate for anyone who wants to change Albania according to their approach and completely normal. Nothing abnormal in the fact that although in Vlora they love the project and they are worried that their season is being damaged by cancellations of reservations due to the protest, different forces are throwing stones on the boulevard from Kosovo and Tetovo and hiding their hand just like the local opposition that pours the streams of its swamp onto the boulevard, the exhausted coup plotters of 98 and even the scoundrels who collect likes on their heels while walking with a mirror in front and crying about the plight of the people.
