Taulanda Jupi: With the DP governing vision, art and culture will become important vectors for the integration of Albania in the EU

Today the Democratic Party holds the Program Assembly for the presentation of the program for the upcoming political elections, with the slogan "Albania deserves more".

The program for art, culture, cultural heritage and thought has as a strategic goal to transform art, culture and cultural heritage into a functional, integrated and competitive creative industry, with significant social and economic impact.

Albania deserves more, Albanians deserve more, so the political objective of the program of the Democratic Party is: "Art and culture accessible to every citizen, not only as a human right, but as a fundamental factor for a healthier society, more tolerant and inclusive"

• The Democratic Party is committed to the progressive increase of the budget for Art, Culture and Cultural Heritage
to the amount of €50 million.

• 0% tax for the creative individual, to encourage creativity in the creative industry sector.• RINFOND – will be the fund of 1 MILLION dedicated to young artists in all fields of creativity because our young people deserve more, they should to shine
with their art and talent in Albania.
• The Democratic Party commits to increase the budget for CINEMATOGRAPHY to the extent of €5 MILLION aiming
at the Production, Promotion and Distribution of the Albanian cinematographic product.

• We create for the first time the reimbursement mechanism for all foreign investors in cinematography at the rate of 35% (the mechanism known as Tax Credit or Tax Rebate)
• Through the National Strategy for the implementation of the "Copyright Law" 10 times the income generated by the creative industry related to copyright from 0.7 million € which is today we aim at 7 million €

We believe that art, culture and cultural heritage through investment, reconceptualization of deep structural and legal reformation in the governing vision of the Democratic Party will become an important vector towards the cultural integration of Albania and the Albanian nation in the European Union.
