The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, said today that EU countries in the five meetings held have left Albania in the same class as regards the IBAR report.

Speaking at a roundtable on developments in the Port of Durres, he said that member countries have also brought a series of conditions and demands for Albania yesterday.

"You know that it has been over a month, the representatives of all member countries have held five meetings until yesterday and still Albania remains in the class due to the thefts of Edi Rama. It is an interim report, it is not a final report. And they have not accepted it even as an interim report and have become a large group of countries, which have brought yesterday a new barrage of conditions and demands that will be placed on Albania on the path to integration. All this for the thefts of Edi Rama" , declared Berisha.

"And he comes out of one hall to another with patronage thieves and electoral criminals defending corruption, declaring that we do not have much corruption. He remembers that the world did not see him naked when he blocked the lifting of Lubi Balluku's immunity. He thinks that others do not know that he defended himself. And the truth is that Albania is being punished despite his deceptions. But a barrage of new conditions are imposed and de facto after the possible membership processes of Iceland and Norway, Albania leaves with Edi Rama quickly back from the horizon ," said the leading democrat.

The opposition leader also commented on Rama's tour of socialist assemblies across the country.

"He thinks that by declaring that there is less corruption than there was, he becomes credible, at a time when everyone understands that the chief thief of the nation is only him. He goes from hall to hall with patronage supporters and tells them the affairs of Albania. I tell the citizens, democrats, socialists, regardless of party, Edi Rama's affairs are the palaces of Surrel ," said the opposition leader.
