Trump threatens Iran: If talks in Pakistan fail, we will use even more powerful

United States President Donald Trump has warned that Washington is ready to resume attacks on Iran if peace talks in Pakistan fail.

In a statement to the New York Post, Trump said that the decision will become clear within a very short time.

"We'll find out in about 24 hours, we'll know soon," he declared.

The head of the White House stressed that American forces are on full alert, revealing that warships are being equipped with advanced weaponry.

"We have a reset planned. We're loading the ships with the best ammunition, the best weapons ever made," Trump said, adding that if a deal is not reached, they "will be used very effectively."

The statement comes at a critical moment, as negotiations to reduce tensions between the US and Iran are taking place in Islamabad, where the parties aim to avoid further escalation of the conflict.

Earlier in the day, Trump also reacted on his social network Truth Social, where he mentioned a "strongest reset in the world," without providing further details.
