Today the great actress Tinka Kurti celebrates her 90th birthday. Kurti has given a lot to the Albanian scene and every time he performs in films he is honored
She was born in Sarajevo on December 17, 1932, but she said: " I am an actress from Shkodra. There I have my love and pain, longing and hostages" . In this journey of superior communication, this example of a female teacher, has carved more than 120 roles in the memory of cinema and theater.
She received her 7-year basic education in Sarajevo and when she was only 13 years old her family moved to the city of Tirana where she continued her studies at the Tirana Polytechnic.
As Tinka Kurti herself often says, she accidentally enrolled to study Drama at the Drama High School of that time. Shortly after she started studying in this specialty, she was expelled from school with the motivation of "showing liberal tendencies".
It was the director Andrea Skanjeti who spotted her extraordinary talent to bring Tinka back on stage once again with the show "Shkodrane Wedding". After the establishment of the "Migjeni" Theater in the city of Shkodra, she became part of the troupe as a semi-professional actress and was also among the 10 actors who founded the institution of the city of Shkodra.

Gjatë karrierës së saj aktorja Tinka Kurti ka interpretuar rreth 260 role në skenën e teatrit dhe 95 role në kinematografi.
Në 1994 ajo hyri në Enciklopedinë e Institutit Biografik Amerikan si një nga 5,000 gratë më të shquara në botë dhe madje më 17 Dhjetor 2007 ajo u ftua në Uashington (SHBA) për të vendosur një pllakë mermeri me emrin e saj në këtë Institut.
Tinka për karrierën e saj artistike është vlerësuar me Çmime dhe Tituj të tjerë si Artiste e Merituar & Artiste e Popullit 1961, me urdhrin “Grand Master” i akorduar nga Presidenti i Republikës për veprimtarinë e saj artistike.
