"Nobody lost their jobs"... Anne Hathaway "clarifies"

Anne Hathaway has broken her silence after the huge uproar that took over social media over claims that she objected to the use of "too skinny" models in the filming of the new film "The Devil Wears Prada 2".

The 43-year-old actress, playing Emily Blunt, explained that her statement was exaggerated and much of it was misinterpreted.

During an interview with "Good Morning America," Hathaway said the incident was a brief moment on set, but then took on larger proportions.

She has categorically denied claims that models have not been fired for reasons involving different physical bodies.

"Nobody lost their jobs. On the contrary, more jobs were created," the actress said.

Hathaway hinted that it was a specific scene in the film, which she couldn't give details about. However, she added that the inclusion of different body types makes everything more beautiful and more real.

The debate is believed to have originated when actress Meryl Streep expressed surprise at the appearance of some models on set, describing them as "alarmingly thin," and added that Hathaway had immediately intervened to discuss the issue with the producers.

The new film is expected to be released in theaters on May 1 in the US and Britain, while public interest continues to be high.
