"Ballando con le Stelle" (Dancing with the Stars) will celebrate its 20th anniversary and RAI is preparing a spectacular spinoff of emotions, glamour and... nostalgia.
The new project, which will be called "Sognando Ballando con le Stelle" (Dreaming of Dancing with the Stars), will last four episodes, with the first broadcast on Friday, May 9, and permanent presenter Milli Carlucci, via Instagram, has updated on the latest developments that are also of football interest.
"We will celebrate together with our historical teachers and the inimitable jury," said the presenter, confirming that these four episodes will also feature familiar characters from previous seasons, including Olympic swimming champion Federica Pellegrini and Wanda Nara.
The Argentine's character was one of the show's strong points in previous years (when she was still married to Mauro Icardi), but she still remains in the spotlight, mainly due to her high-profile divorce, as new details emerge every day.
However, production executives managed to secure Francesco Totti's presence at the premiere of the anniversary series. And the eternal Roma captain, as reported by Italian media, will not only be present in the studio, but will also dance live with partner Wanda Nara, creating a couple that is expected to annoy the set, but also the television audience.
At the same time, it will revive the rumors that were sparked in 2019, when Totti and Nara were found chatting for a long time in the first half of Inter's (Icardi was playing there at the time) match against Roma (Totti was technical director at the time).
