Costumes up to 1000 euros at Altin Mici: RTSH amid accusations of luxury abuse and financial crisis, moderators without salaries

Albanian Radio and Television continues to face a storm of accusations and public criticism. After journalist Kozeta Kurti's public denunciation of unpaid projects for months and moderator Florian Agalliu's confirmation that his team is also awaiting rewards, documents have come to light showing how RTSH funds were abused, including the costumes required for show hosts.
According to the Albanian Post, RTSH funds were used for suits costing up to 1,000 euros, shirts costing 250 euros, and jacket scarves costing up to 50 euros each. The orders, placed with stylist Altin Mici, are displayed on internal noticeboards, but without a formal contract to justify the billing.

This contrast between luxury and salary delays has caused widespread indignation, increasing pressure on the current leaders of RTSH. In the midst of this situation, director Eni Vasili has reacted by thanking journalists and moderators for their understanding, but also emphasizing that the new management is faced with "a catastrophic situation of debts and obligations" inherited from the past.
"Of course, it is not their responsibility that they were promised projects that could not be paid for, but that does not make the new management guilty," Vasili said a few days ago.
This is another example of the abuses that have occurred at RTSH, which have led the main media institution into a critical situation, due to carelessness in the management of funds, even for wardrobes at abnormally high prices.
