The life of Alain Delon, Brigitte Bardot: Only silence is great, everything else is weakness

The death of the famous French actor, Alain Delon, has made Brigitte Bardot the only actress who is still alive of the so-called "French 7th Art".

Through a letter, she remembered her former colleague, who was also one of her best friends.

"The death of Alain Delon creates a great void that nothing and no one will be able to fill," wrote Brigitte Bardot.

Bardot closes her letter with this sentence: "I lose a friend, an alter ego, a collaborator, we shared the same values, the same disappointments, the same love of animals, and I think of a sentence from Alfred de Vigny in 'The Death of To the wolf': 'To see what we were on earth and what we leave behind. Only silence is great, everything else is weakness'".
