The famous rapper was shot dead while celebrating his birthday

American rapper Julio Foolio was killed in a shooting during his birthday party. Police in Florida said four people were shot in a hotel parking lot. One of them, Foolio, lost his life while the other three were hospitalized in stable condition.

The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name was Charles Jones, was ambushed in the hotel parking lot, the BBC reports.

On his Instagram account before he died, he wrote that "the police stopped our party". In recent months, he has written that "there have been several attempts to kill him".
