115 games, Pjanic retires from the national team

Miralem Pjanic has retired from the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after 115 matches with the representative. The announcement came from the 34-year-old Pjanic himself, with a post on social networks.
"After 16 years for my Bosnia and Herzegovina, the moment has come to say that it is over. This is certainly one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make, but with great pride and true satisfaction I say - enough is enough."
" I played 115 games, I experienced so much joy, going to the World Cup - it was all a dream that I had as a child and that came true always with love and pride for my country's shirt, playing for my people , to our loyal fans around the world."
"Thank you to all the selectors, medical staff and economists who supported us on this journey. Thank you to BH Fanaticos for believing in me and helping me realize my dream and play for the country I love. The greatest gratitude goes to my parents and the whole family, you were my strength and support in everything."
" In every club where I have played, I have been a proud Bosnian, always trying to be a role model for our children, hoping that one day they too will enter the biggest clubs in the world. I wish the National Team all the best in the future. Sergey, master, I wish you all the best, you were my role model. You took us to great heights, I hope you lead us back to the path of success. I love you, my Bosnia" , wrote Pjanic.
