Argentina is challenged by Austria tonight, France faces Iraq

Argentina and France take to the field tonight with the aim of securing qualification for the knockout stage of the World Cup. The world champions will face Austria, while the runners-up will face Iraq. Coaches Scaloni and Deschamps are demanding maximum concentration, emphasizing that there are no easy opponents in this World Cup.

Tonight it's the turn of two of the favourites to take to the field to secure qualification for the knockout stage. Argentina, the reigning world champions, face Austria after a spectacular debut against Algeria, where Lionel Messi scored three goals.

Another success would practically guarantee Lionel Scaloni's team passage to the next round. However, coach Scaloni does not consider the challenge against Austria to be easy at all.

The coach said that the team must be at its best, as there are no easy matches in the World Cup.

At the press conference, Scaloni also praised the overall level of the tournament, emphasizing that many teams are making life difficult even for the biggest national teams. The Argentina - Austria match will be played at 19:00.

France's match against Iraq is expected to be equally interesting. The "Roosters", who started the tournament with a victory over Senegal, are aiming for a second consecutive success to ensure passage, but coach Didier Deschamps has called for maximum concentration.

The coach said that Iraq is a quality team and should not be underestimated, while predicting a difficult match.

Deschamps is expected to make only a few minor changes to the lineup, maintaining the core of the team that won the first leg. The challenge will be played tonight at 11:00 p.m.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the Norway - Senegal and Jordan - Algeria matches will be played.
