Barcelona reach agreement with Nico Williams, 6-year contract for the striker

Nico Williams' future looks increasingly closer to Barcelona. According to reports from Spain, the Catalan club have reached a verbal agreement with the player.

He has given his approval for a six-year contract, while an agreement remains to be reached with Athletic Bilbao, the club that owns the player's card.

It is also said that Williams will earn around 12 million euros per season at Barcelona. In recent years, Barcelona has had numerous financial problems and it remains to be seen how they can resolve the issue of paying Williams' clause.

For the 22-year-old, Athletic Bilbao is asking for at least 58 million euros to free him up to leave.
