But it was at the customs checkpoint that it was revealed that one of the team's leaders, striker Brel Embolo, had problems with his documentation as a result of a conviction he received from Swiss courts for a fight in 2018.

Thus, the delegation was forced to leave without Embolo, while his electronic pass to the US is "under verification" at the moment. The striker has been staying in Zurich waiting for the green light to travel to the US and join the team.

The interesting thing is that Embolo traveled to the USA a year ago for friendlies, playing in the matches against Mexico and the USA, won 4-2 and 4-0 respectively, where he was among the goalscorers. He is undoubtedly one of the leaders of this team and one of the main names in the Helvetian attack.
