Eurobasket for girls, Albania U16 takes the bronze medal

The U16 girls' national team won the bronze medal at Eurobasket, in Division C, held in Peja.

Albania defeated Malta with a score of 61–57, in a hard-fought challenge from start to finish.

The Maltese team took a 3-point lead at halftime, but the efforts of the red and black girls brought about the rematch in the second half.

Anja Kasa was the best on the field for the National Team, with 18 points scored and 7 rebounds, which was also included in the best lineup of the event.

A rematch for Albania, which had lost the group match against Malta.

The U16 boys' national team finished the tournament held in Shkodra in fourth place.

Albania lost with a score of 118–78, but made good performances during this championship.
