Without verifying the accuracy of the information, the organizers decided to pay tribute with a minute of silence before the start of the match with Levski Sofia.

The players stood in silence, the referee gave the signal for the start of the match, and confusion erupted in the stands.

The problem arose when Gancev himself found out about the tribute. Shocked, he contacted the club, which quickly responded with an official statement.
