Former football player and captain of the Albanian national football team, Ansi Agolli, has already hung up his shoes for a long time. Now the former full-back is trying new experiences, and like many footballers who finish their careers on the green field, they choose to become a coach.
Today, Agolli has officially joined the American team FC Westchester. More precisely, he will lead the U-16 academy, and the leaders hope that thanks to Agolli's experience, the latter will be able to lead them to the MLS title.
The American club made the agreement official through a post on "Instagram":
"We are proud to welcome Ansi Agolli as the new head coach of MLS. Ansi is the most decorated Albanian player, winning 16 trophies and leading his national team as captain in the finals of the 2016 European Championship. Ansi will be the coach of the U-16 team for the 2024/2025 season of our team."
