Mourinho: There's no question of if, Real Madrid not on my agenda

Jose Mourinho was once again faced with a question that has haunted him for years, his name being linked with Real Madrid. On the eve of the match between Benfica and Napoli, the conversation briefly turned to familiar territory for the coach.
The possibility of a return, fuelled by rumours surrounding the Real Madrid bench, resurfaced in the press room. Mourinho reacted automatically. “There’s no need to close it, that issue is closed. You raised it yourself,” the Portuguese replied, cutting off the conversation. The persistent questions about whether a hypothetical return to LaLiga could tempt him also failed to create any friction.
"Don't ask me 'if' questions. Is it easy to say no to Benfica?" he replied, showing more fatigue than tension. His message got to the heart of the matter, there is no chance.
Real Madrid is not on his agenda and Mourinho wanted to dismiss the idea before it dominated a press conference designed for a different match and context.
