Myrto Uzun's target, the national team striker towards a new career record

Myrto Uzuni is now known as the third player in Austin history to record 10 goals. Previously, this figure was achieved by Maksi Uruti and Gias Zardez.

Uzuni scored in the first game of the season against Minnesota, while Austin was held to a 2-2 draw. He had scored the other nine goals throughout 2025.

It should be said that Uruti holds the club record with 11 goals scored in 64 matches. Uzuni has every opportunity to set a new record, with Austin competing in MLS from 2021. The Albanian striker has 35 appearances in total so far.

Uzun himself has a contract until the end of 2027. The player from Berat was also close to a move to Trabzonspor in the winter transfer window, but the clubs did not agree on financial terms.
