OPTA predicts the winner of the Champions League for this season

The quarter-final stage of the Champions League for the 2026 season has concluded, sealing the four teams that will fight for a place in the final of the most prestigious club competition in Europe.

Among the semi-finalists are defending champions Paris Saint-Germain, German giants Bayern Munich, English side Arsenal and Spanish side Atlético Madrid.

The draw has reserved two strong matches: Paris Saint-Germain will challenge Bayern Munich, while Atlético Madrid faces Arsenal, in an open duel for the two final tickets.

Meanwhile, the specialized statistics network Opta has published predictions for this phase, based on a supercomputer that has analyzed team data and simulated 10,000 possible scenarios until the end of the tournament.

According to these projections, Arsenal are considered the main favorite to win the trophy, with a probability of 36.75%. Behind them is Bayern Munich with 34.61%, while Paris Saint-Germain has a 19.35% chance of triumph. In last place according to the predictions is Atlético Madrid with 9.29%.
