Real Madrid make decision on Nico Williams

Real Madrid are not interested in signing Nico Williams.

It was previously reported that the Madrid club was seriously considering buying the 22-year-old winger from Athletic Bilbao.

The player has a release clause of 58 million euros and is also part of the Spanish national team.

However, according to Josep Pedrerol from 'El Chiringuito TV', Real Madrid have never shown any concrete interest in Nico Williams.

Pedrerol says the speculation has been fueled by Athletic Bilbao and the player's inner circle, to push his value on the market.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have previously been interested in him, but have backed out due to a lack of funds and competition in the attacking department.

Nico Williams has had a good season with five goals and five assists in 29 La Liga matches.
