Albania gets 2 quotas in the World Olympic Games! It will be represented by 4 athletes

Albania, thanks to Lara Colturi, has increased its participation with two skiers in the Winter Olympic Games to be held in Cortina, Milan from February 6 to 22, 2026. Although there are 16 disciplines in total, 1 more than China 2022, Albania will only be represented in alpine skiing.

Thanks to Lara Colturi's increased results, Albania will no longer be represented by 1, but 3 skiers in the girls' category.

In addition to Coltur, who ranked among the top 8 in the world at the last world championship, skiers Semire Dauti and Lisa Brunga will also represent the red and black flag in Cortina.

Both of these skiers are seen as promising as Semire Dauti is only 18 years old, while Lisa Brunga is 17 years old.

In total, Albania will be represented by 4 athletes at the Winter Olympics, while in the men's category there is only Deni Xhepa.

Also a skier, the 22-year-old has been invited to the Olympic Games, while Albania's athletes will be handed the flag at an official ceremony organized at the presidency on January 16.
