Tirana is roaring with fans! Farewell to 4 legends of the National Team...

This evening, at 20:45, the "Air Albania" stadium will be full for the important match between the Albanian National Team and the Czech Republic. Over 21,000 fans will support "Albania of the heart", with the stadium having been 'sold-out' for weeks. They will be with the "12th player", as the invaluable support of the fans is often called.

The atmosphere before the match is filled with excitement and enthusiasm, filling the capital with red and black colors. The streets of Tirana are filled with fans singing patriotic songs and waving Albanian flags. The city center, especially the Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" and the surroundings of the stadium, have been transformed into a fiery and passionate atmosphere, prepared for today's duel.

In an exciting ceremony, the Albanian Football Federation will honor the four legendary footballers who recently bid farewell to the National Team, before the match with the Czech Republic. They are Ermiri Lenjani, Bekim Balaj, Odise Roshi and Klaus Gjasula, who will be hailed as part of the history of Albanian football. Gjasula has been part of the National Team for 29 matches, debuting on September 7, 2019 in the challenge against France, and scoring an unforgettable goal in the 2024 European Championship against Croatia.

Bekim Balaj, author of 9 goals in 48 matches with Albania, scored the goal that announced history, helping the National Team to qualify for European 2016. Lenjani, with 45 matches and 5 goals, considered participating in the National Team as the realization of his childhood dream, while Odise Roshi, known as "Raketa", was another important contributor, with 71 games and 5 goals, and a participant in Euro 2016. This moment will be a tribute to everything they have given to Albanian football.
