Tragic/ Fatal accident in Austria, Valon Berisha "sees with his own eyes" the death of his cousin

Valon Berisha experienced a tragic event this weekend, after witnessing his cousin's fatal accident up close. The incident occurred on Sunday on a highway in northern Austria, as the footballer was driving in front of the 38-year-old's vehicle.
According to reports from the Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung, the victim lost control of the van and crashed into a wooden barrier at around 8:00 a.m. Berisha saw the accident in his rearview mirror, stopped immediately and rushed to provide first aid, also notifying the emergency services.
One of the police officers at the scene stated: "The driver was trapped in the vehicle. After consulting with the emergency doctor, we extricated him, but due to the severe injuries we were unable to save him." Despite efforts that lasted about 30 minutes, the 38-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, while the causes of the accident remain under investigation.
