These days, the U-20 World Championship is taking place in Cali, Colombia, and one of its protagonists was the Italian athlete Alberto Nonino.
While taking part in the 400 meters race he was noticed to be embarrassed by his running pants and journalist David Sanchez de Castro discovered that Nonino had his genitals protruding.
As a result, he slowed down to resolve the issue and finished last even though he was in the top positions at the start.
While the athlete himself wrote on Instagram:
"I want to talk to you a little bit about the concern that exists in blogs and social networks in general. I know it was definitely an accident and I want to tell you I'm familiar with the news and you don't need to send me the site links. I try to laugh about it now, but immediately afterwards I felt terribly bad and I'm grateful to my friends and family for helping me through what happened a few hours later.'
