Accident on the Krahes-Memaliaj road, one injured

An accident occurred this morning on the Krahes-Memaliaj road, where a truck collided with a motorcycle driven by a 65-year-old man.

As a result of the collision, the elderly man was injured and is in Gjirokastra Regional Hospital, out of danger.

The truck driver was escorted to the police station for further action.

"Around 08:15, on the "Krahës-Memaliaj" road axis, near the village of Qesarat, a truck driven by citizen E. Ç., 38 years old, resident of Gjirokastër, collided with a motorcycle driven by citizen TZ, 65 years old, resident of the village of Qesarat.

As a result, the 65-year-old man was injured and is in Gjirokastra Regional Hospital, out of danger to his life," the police announced.

The investigation team is carrying out actions to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
