Those who recruited him in England, 500,000 euros to hang Ruben Saraiva in prison, the Portuguese was sentenced yesterday to life imprisonment

From being sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, to being wanted for murder for a price of 500,000 euros by those who hired him as a hitman.
This award was given for the elimination in prison of Portuguese Ruben Saraiva, who was sentenced to life imprisonment by Judge Lirim Bulica, on Wednesday at the Lezha Court, for the murder in collaboration with Ardian Nikulaj.
His elimination in prison is sought out of fear that Saraiva, at some point, will turn into a collaborator of Albanian justice and reveal the recruiter and payer in England to come to Albania as a hired killer.
The 31-year-old Portuguese, raised in London, arrived at court yesterday accompanied by a squad armed with semi-automatic "Berreta" weapons from the Prisons Operations.
Meanwhile, the perimeter of the Lezha Court was surrounded by 15 employees of the city's criminal police, without uniform, and 5 others from the Eagle Forces.
Eight armed officers from the prison operations team stood in the courtroom, while Ruben Saraiva, dressed in a black Nike suit, was in the court's 'cage' under the guard of three guards.
In front of him was Rudina Nikulaj, Ardian Nikulaj's wife, along with some of his friends.
These security measures, including those in which he is held in detention center 302 "Mine Peza", are related to information received through operational channels at the General Directorate of Prisons.
This information, learned by Top Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu, suggested that 500,000 euros were being paid for Saraiva's head, killed in prison.
Immediately after receiving this disturbing information, he was placed under a strict isolation regime from other prisoners.
"The Portuguese Embassy in Rome has taken action since the moment it became aware of the detention of Portuguese citizen Ruben Saraiva, and the Honorary Consul of Portugal in Tirana has ensured the attendance of the reading session of the decision, which took place yesterday (25/03) and in which the court imposed a life sentence on the detainee," stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Portugal.
It should be clarified, this ministry emphasizes, that there is no extradition agreement, agreement on mutual legal assistance or agreement on the transfer of convicted persons between Portugal and Albania; however, all possibilities will be examined./ Top Channel
