The video also showed Kim presenting Lukashenko with a large mosaic vase with a portrait of the Belarusian leader, with the North Korean leader also explaining that around 30 seashells were used to create it.
Lukashenko said, among other things, that the world's major powers "ignore and violate the norms of international law ," appearing to criticize the United States. Kim, meanwhile, said that North Korea opposes " illegal pressure on Belarus by the West ."
In addition to the treaty of friendship and cooperation, the two sides agreed to expand cooperation in sectors ranging from agriculture to information, Belarusian state media said.
