"The Transparency Board on March 26, 2026, at its next meeting, decided:

The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard shall be no more than 203 lek/liter, while the wholesale price shall be no more than 191 lek/liter.

The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 175 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 163 lek/liter.

"The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, March 26th at 6:30 pm and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected," the announcement states.

The board further emphasizes that the decisions relate only to the prices of by-products such as gasoline and diesel according to the Platts Mediterranean Exchange, excluding crude oil and the dollar exchange rate.

Also, the Board has only set maximum gross margins for wholesale and retail sales, which operators must use to cover operating expenses.
